Just a brief update...

Well, its been a minute since I last updated. Nothing much has changed. I have not been running like I want. It has been major hell at work, and the hours are piling up. I be sooo tired when I get home. I have a 5k run (noticed how I didnt say race) 2morrow. I KNOW I'm not going to PR. This weather round here has been horrible. It hasnt been above freezing all year!! We are supposed to have a heat wave come thru 2morrow, 36 degrees... then its back to below freezing again the next day. Its so hard to get out in this blistering cold. Its even harder to run, because the sidewalks have like 3-4 feet of snow on it from the plows on the street. Can barely run in the streets because idiots dont respect runners. But I did manage a 10 miler today. My fingers were TOTALLY numb afterwards. I couldnt have run another mile like this. Did it at a gingerly 8:19 pace. Felt good afterwards, hope I didnt overdo it for 2morrow. I have officially signed up for the Martian Marathon in Dearborn in April. I'm hoping to place. My training has been next to nothing tho. I guess I'm going to have to do a blitzkreig training like my 1st marathon and hope for the best. No formal plan either. But I WILL have a formal plan for my fall marathon. Just a brief update... and I run on...
